Introduction to Bootstrap

 Introduction to Bootstrap

Reflection Paper #1 - As Organizer

I. Details of the event/activity

“Introduction to Bootstrap” is a very much-needed webinar to be talked about, especially with what we, 4th year IT students, are currently posed to be after graduation, web developers. Organized by pixelPlay with Mr. Simon Gerard Granil as the resource speaker last 27th of November, 2022.

II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

For easier front-end development, Bootstrap is the way to go. Bootstrap is a free and open-source front-end web framework for designing websites and web applications. It contains HTML- and CSS-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation, and other interface components, as well as optional JavaScript extensions. Bootstrap is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first websites.

III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learnings)

I took an interest in graphics and user interface design last year and was excited to find a webinar that would teach me how to apply these skills to web design. The webinar was very informative and taught me a lot about the different aspects of web design. I learned about the importance of usability and how to create a user-friendly interface. I also learned about the different types of web design, such as responsive design, and how to create a website that is both visually appealing and easy to use.

IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)

The organizers of the webinar chose a fantastic and interesting speaker. He is the teacher who is most knowledgeable about the subject at hand. He has impressive credentials and practical expertise, and his approach is informative and engaging. The participants are learning a lot from the webinar and are happy with it.

V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities
